Linux Automation Engineer (46710)

Des Moines-based Insurance company is looking for a Linux Automation Engineer for a potential contract-to-hire position. As an Infrastructure Engineer on the Distributed Hosting Linux server team, you’ll provide strategic support and execution of organizational initiatives across our global landscape. What you will do:

• Balance project and service delivery/operations work
• Building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure Linux server hosting solutions
  • This includes Linux systems administration, automation, and scripting in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment
• Work in operations, including working on support requests for internal customer
• Participate in an on-call rotation 5 days per week
• Collaborate with team members and other teams
• Create and update process documentation

What you will need to be successful:

• AWS
• Terraform
• Linux
• Nice to Have - AWS CDK, Ansible, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices (CIS, NIST, etc.)
