Senior R&D Engineer

Palmer Group has partnered with a local client in their search for a talented Senior R&D Engineer to join their established team. This is a long-term project with significant growth opportunities. You will work in collaboration with a team of experienced professionals to develop and implement cutting-edge automation and design solutions.

Work model:

• On-Site
• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What you will do:

• Work on a cross-functional project team to meet customer requirements and expectations
• Develop, test, document, and maintain software solutions driven by a seasonal schedule
• Develop an understanding of field and lab equipment for R&D
• Work on software on precision phenotyping devices Requirements
• Run and maintain projects, understanding basic project management skills 

What you will need to be successful:

• Prior experience developing solutions in Python, C++, C#.NET, and Structured Text
• Ability to work safely around common shop equipment
• Demonstrated respect for the environment
• Ability to work in the U.S. without restriction
