• On-Site
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Monday - Friday

What you will do:

• Work directly with and under the supervision of attorneys to assist with a range of legal support functions
• Conduct legal research
• Gather appropriate documentation, rules, and citations for drafting and reviewing complex pleadings, briefs, motions, and forms
• Collaborate with clients, staff, and attorneys to complete discovery responses and assist with discovery requests
• Assist in preparation for depositions, trials, and post-trial submissions, including appeals

What you will need to be successful:

• Paralegal degree/certificate or working towards it
• 3-5 years of legal support experience working in family law
• Prior experience with dissolution, modification, and child support casework required
• Candidate must be a self-starter who wants to be part of a thriving practice, with a strong desire to be a part of a cohesive team
• Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, research and writing skills, and a desire to problem-solve
• Must have a client service mindset, upbeat energy, and willingness to go above and beyond for our clients and teammates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Word, and Excel. Billing and Client Management software will be trained.
• Proficiency with Westlaw
